Born and raised in Indonesia, Michelle is a passionate young pianist and educator.
Her notable performances include her debut at the Carnegie Halls’ Weill Recital Hall in 2017, Taipei Maestro Piano Festival’s Promising Star concert series in 2020 along with performances in prestigious venues including the Taipei KHS Hall, CHIJMES, Esplanade etc. She has received top prizes in international competitions including UCSI University International Piano Competition, Hong Kong Asia Open Piano Competition, New York Golden Classical Music Awards, amongst others.

As a teacher, Michelle’s desire is to first and foremost instill a sincere love for music in her students, and then to help them grow through the learning process. Her students have emerged as top scorers and outstanding performers in various competitions and festivals. They have also scored distinctions in their ABRSM examinations. She is a Star Award Top Honor Teacher for the 2020, 2021 and 2022 editions of the Overseas Performers Festival.

Michelle holds a MMus in Piano Performance from the University of West London. A passionate pedagogue, her final research is focused on cultivating healthy technique in young beginners.
