As a concert pianist, collaborator and educator, Daniel has been active for the last 10 years in Australia, Singapore and the United States. He has appeared as soloist with major orchestras including Melbourne and Queensland Symphony Orchestras. He has won national and international piano competitions, including being a finalist in the 2017 Naumburg.
As a graduate of the Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music, he won scholarships to study Masters and Doctor of Musical Arts Degrees at the Manhattan School of Music.
He currently serves as piano faculty at Queensland Conservatorium’s Young Program, and is a former Piano Faculty at Bronx Conservatory of Music in New York. Some of his students have won prizes in the Rondo Young Artist Competition. They have also performed in New York Kauffman, Steinway Hall and Merkin Halls. Recently, his student became finalists in the Young Maestro International Music Competition. Daniel is a Steinway Education Partner in the US region.
